BUS RYDE Terms and Conditions

Registration for BUS RYDE

  1. By signing up for BUS RYDE Insurance (“BUS RYDE”), the applicant agrees and accepts to abide by Terms and Conditions of BUS RYDE Campaign (“the Campaign”).
  2. Unless the context otherwise requires, BUS RYDE is equal to BUS RYDE Passenger Protection, BUS RYDE Bus Passenger MicroInsurance, and BUS RYDE Passenger MicroInsurance.
  3. To be eligible for BUS RYDE, the applicant must meet the following requirements:
    1. The applicant is a valid KMB Monthly Pass Holder (“Monthly Pass Holder”).
    2. The application must be accepted by Assicurazioni Generali S.p.A. (Hong Kong Branch) (“Generali”).
  4. Monthly Pass Holder
    1. The Monthly Pass Holder can register the Protection from now on.
    2. After verification, BUS RYDE activates within the Monthly Pass valid period.
  5. BUS RYDE is valid for KMB routes that the Monthly Pass covers, such as regular routes, joint-operated cross-harbour routes (KMB trips), overnight routes, etc. The coverage of the Monthly Pass is subject to the KMB website.
  6. The applicant must register BUS RYDE with a single Octopus ID.

Eligibility and calculation of Uber voucher redemption

  1. Upon approval of your BUS RYDE claim, you can redeem an Uber voucher (“the Voucher”) valued between HK$100 to HK$1,000.
  2. The Voucher amount is calculated as 15% of the approved claim amount, rounded to the nearest HK$50, up to the capped amount.
  3. This offer is exclusively available to Monthly Pass holders with approved first-time BUS RYDE claims.
  4. Monthly Pass holders with previously approved BUS RYDE claims are not eligible for this offer.
  5. The Voucher is non-transferable, non-refundable, and governed by Uber's terms.

Other important terms

  1. YAS Digital Ltd. (“YAS”) has the final discretion over the interpretation of Terms and Conditions of the Campaign. YAS reserves the right to amend or supplement these Terms and Conditions; or to terminate or suspend the provision of BUS RYDE, concession, or other promotional programmes without prior notice.
  2. Unless the context otherwise requires, words importing the singular include the plural and vice versa and words importing a gender include every other gender.
  3. In the event of any conflict or inconsistency between the English version and the Chinese version of these Terms and Conditions, the English version shall prevail.
  4. In the event of dispute, the decision of YAS and/or Generali shall be final.
