What does BYKE Pro cover?
1a. Accidental Medical Expenses
Accidents happens, especially on the road. For injuries caused by accidents during the bike ride, you are covered for up to HK$ 15,000.
1b. Extended benefit - Cover for Damage of Bike
Bike damages are inevitable when cycling. For the damage of the bike caused by the same accidents, you are covered for up to HK$ 10,000 for repair or replacement.
2. Cover for Theft of Bike
For the cost of replacement on theft of bike during the ride, you are covered for up to HK$ 10,000.

Be aware:
Rental bikes are not covered.
Accidents caused by extreme weather conditions (Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above / Black Rainstorm Warning) are excluded.
Bike theft caused by unlocked situation is excluded.

Notes before purchase:
- Cover for Damage of Bike is only payable if the benefit for Accidental Medical Expenses is payable for the same accident.
- Acceptable cycling routes may change from time to time without prior notice. Don’t forget to check the list of acceptable routes before activating BYKE Pro.
- You can make multiple claims for each benefit until it reaches the respective benefit coverage limit.
- Claim for Theft of Bike Coverage is only applicable to bikes that were locked. It’s compulsory to report to the local police authority within 24 hours of the incident (both physical and e-report are accepted).

What are the major exclusions?
General Exclusions: Pre-existing conditions, self-inflicted injury, acts of war, illegal acts, pregnancy, mental disorders, conditions caused by chronic alcoholism or drug addiction, congenital anomalies, accident caused by typhoon number 8 or above or black rainstorm warning, routes not accepted by the Company, sports in a professional capacity or for income, mountaineering or competition.

How do I start the claim process if I have an accident?
In the YAS MicroInsurance App:
- Tap "Account" on the menu list.
- Tap "Past Activities"
- Click on the completed trip that you would like to claim
- Tap "Claim" and fill in the required information
- For anything urgent or if you require additional support, contact us at rylie@hk.yas.io and we will do our utmost to help.
What do I need to be aware if I need to submit a claim?
- Photos of the damaged parts of the bike and receipts of the bike parts are required for claiming purposes.
- Claims for Theft of Bike Coverage is only applicable to bikes that were locked. It’s compulsory to report to the local police authority within 24 hours of the incident (both physical or e-report are accepted).
- All claim applications must be submitted within 30 days after the incident/accident.
- You can make multiple claims for each benefit until it reaches the respective benefit coverage limit.
BYKE Pro is issued by Assicurazioni Generali S.p.A.(Hong Kong Branch) (“the Company”), an authorised insurer in Hong Kong, and arranged by YAS Digital Limited. The Company reserves the right to accept or decline any application.
